For the first time in over 50 years, HIMSS isn’t happening. All I lost was a hotel stay and a drive to Orlando, but I know you had a lot more on the line.
Still, even with all the planning that didn’t pan out, I think you’re looking at an opportunity — an opportunity to turn lemons into…I think that’s a picture of a Tom Collins, but you get where I’m going.
I’ve seen some brands pivoting last minute to webinars and jumping on the #virtualHIMSS20 tag, but I think there’s a lot more we can do (especially when it comes to rethinking your approach to conferences as a part of a more holistic content strategy).
